   Proposal Description:
   We will be methylation profiling the DNA samples on the Illumina Infinium 450K methylation beadchip and comparing the controls to matched AD and Parkinson???s disease (PD) samples. Our goal will be to identify methylation changes specific to AD and PD. If changes are specific and significant enough, we hope to eventually develop a biomarker that could be used to aid in early diagnosis of AD and PD.
